ayatul kursi
Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great."
Tafseer ayatul kursi
Allah: the Everlasting, the Sustainer of the whole Universe; there is no god but He. *278 He does neither slumber nor sleep. *279 Whatsoever is in the heavens and in the earth is His. *280 Who is there that can intercede with Him except by His own permission.? *281 He knows what is before the people and also what is hidden from them. And they cannot comprehend anything of His knowledge save whatever He Himself pleases to reveal. *282 His Kingdom *283 spreads over the heavens and the earth and the guarding of these does not weary Him. He alone is the Supreme and the Exalted. *284
